The Toilet Guy

5-Step Toilet Replacement Process

DELIVERY

Toilets are heavy, weighing between 70 and 100 pounds. Their size and weight make them awkward and challenging to handle. We make the process hassle-free by sourcing and delivering the model of your choice directly to your door, saving you time and money.

REMOVAL

After disconnecting and draining is finished, we will remove the old wax ring, scrape away any remaining caulking, and thoroughly clean the floor. We carefully seal your old unit and debris in a plastic bag before removal, ensuring a hygienic and tidy environment.

INSPECTION

As part of our process, we thoroughly inspect the shut-off valve, toilet flange, and surrounding areas for leaks or water damage. Additionally, we evaluate the floor's structural integrity to ensure a secure and long-lasting install with no hidden issues.

INSTALL

Regardless of your model selection, every install includes a premium waterline, wax ring and heavy-duty hardware package. We’ll expertly assemble and install your new fixture, test its functionality, and apply a perfect bead of caulk. Finally, we’ll clean the area, leaving it spotless.

RECYCLE

Colorado has an excellent recycling program that allows us to responsibly recycle old toilets. We’ll dismantle your old unit and transport it to a dedicated recycling center. In addition, we will ensure all cardboard, packaging materials and waste from your new fixture are properly recycled.

Every replacement toilet includes…

Wax Ring

Every new setup includes a premium flangeless wax ring, sized to match your specific installation requirements. At The Toilet Guy, we are obsessed with the details, ensuring that every wax ring is maintained within the optimal temperature range of 70-110 degrees prior to installation to prevent cracking and guarantee a perfect seal.

Water Line

Traditional supply lines with plastic hex nuts are prone to cracking or shearing, often resulting in costly home floods. At The Toilet Guy, we install premium braided stainless steel lines featuring nickel-plated brass hex nuts and upgraded seals, offering superior durability and dependable leak protection for your peace of mind.

Flange Bolts

Many of our competitors use copper-plated 1/4-inch flange bolts with steel hardware, which will eventually corrode and rust, leading to a multitude of problems. At The Toilet Guy, we use heavy-duty 5/16-inch solid brass flange bolts with premium marine-grade stainless steel hardware, ensuring the most durable and reliable installation possible.
